FIRST LOOK: Sex & The City 2 Trailer

Sex & The City was one of my favorite television series of all time. The movie? Not so much. It was poorly done, poorly written, and incredibly CORNY (and don’t even get me started on how much I hated Jennifer Hudson’s ridiculous role of Louise from St Louis).

The trailer for Sex & The City 2 was just released, and I have to say it makes the sequel looks even stupider than the first movie. Is there even a plot? Because it just looks like a bunch of scenes of them walking around and giggling. And why the hell are they in the desert? Did Samantha finally fuck all the men in New York?

The good news? Jennifer Hudson will NOT be back as Carrie’s assistant. The bad news? From everything I’ve read about the movie, I think it’s going to disappoint the fans of the series even more than the original movie did.

Sex and The City 2 is out on May 28, 2010.

The Karate Kid Remake: Worse Than I Imagined

In case you haven’t heard, Hollywood is re-making The Karate Kid. In the updated, completely bastardized version, Daniel LaRusso will now be named DRE, and the role will be played by Jaden Smith. Even worse, Mr. Miogi is now Mr. Han, and will be played by Jackie Chan.

Here’s your first look at the trailer:

Remember Mr. Miogi’s famous training line “wax on wax off?” Well, in the remake, that’s being replaced with “JACKET ON, JACKET OFF.” Seriously? That’s the best they could come up with? That’s not karate training. That’s spending time in a room with a faulty air conditioner.
