Now that Senator Obama is the President-Elect, perhaps the media can finally stop the Obama family ass kissing. Let me be amongst the first to voice my opinion about Michelle Obama’s Narciso Rodriguez dress last night:
It was hideous.
She looked like she was wearing a black garbage bag covered in blood. Was she mauled by a tiger, or did a rabid vampire from True Blood get to her earlier in the evening? Did she have an accident with a Mickey D’s fancy ketchup pack, or she was standing next to Carrie when the pig blood spilled down on her at her prom?
Seriously, the getup looks like a discount Vampiress costume purchased on eBay for $.99. Somebody in the Obama posse should have told her Halloween was last month. Poor Mr. Blackwell must be rolling over in his grave.

Didn’t you learn as a child (my parents taught me this) that there are all types of people, from many different backgrounds, so this is the reason for the variations. We’re all a beautiful people. I was shocked to see such an ugly dress on M.O.! On my TV it looked as if she were announcing she was pregnant–and loudly at that! This style accentuates the belly/hips/torso. Such a harsh dress in front of millions of people was just in very poor taste. She needs a definite makeover.

The statement that the name Jackie O and Michelle should not be used in the same sentence brought about memories of their not being allowed to drink from the same water fountain at one time. My mind immediately went to the horror of the segregation of my youth. The reference to the “new Jackie Kennedy” and Biancai’s comment of an insult for the names to be used in the same sentence hit a nerve. We were clearly on separate pages. My Bad!!

Let look at the definition of this idiom. The expression “make a silk purse out of sow’s ear” is normally used to mean that it is impossible to make something fine out of inferior or substandard material. If something isn’t very good to start with, you can’t do much to improve it.
This statement was not referring to the dress: it was attacking Michelle. But why? Michelle is an attorney, a Princeton undergrad, a Harvard Law School graduate, and from all appearances, a loving mother and wife. So why this hostility? Something much deeper is going on here! I don’t know what it is but it sounds like the writer may very well have race issues. Blacks have long been regarded as an inferior race. I have no way of knowing this, but Sandi may have a strong dislike for blacks as well as Biancai who finds it insulting for the name Jackie O and Michelle to be in the same sentence. I can’t believe what I’m reading… I was told her clothes would be a big issue in the US but I can’t believe it! Who cares what a person wares, who designed it, did it match, and worst of all taking about her teeth, eyebrows and body shape. SICK!!! This type of narrow minded thinking is what got your country into the state it is today? It about who she is, what’s inside, how she treats others?
Instead of judging a person’s exterior, try getting to know a person’s interior. Seriously go out there and strike up a conversion with someone you dislike; listen to them, get to know them and become a friend to them. Now that would be impressive! Here’s another thought; how about donating your “perfect” designer clothes to fellow citizen in need, or while you’re settling in for the evening in your designer bedding think about the millions of people sleeping on the ground and waking up to no food”. Or, perhaps pick up a book and learning about world events. You may come to realize the person now leading your country is a great person that is respected around the world. Ugly comments about Michelle Obama. I would call Michelle a bit big boned, but I’m sure she weighs under 190 pounds. Of course, she probably outweighs Barack, but so what. We’re too hung up on looks anyway. The only thing a touch unattractive about Michelle is her frown. I guess her face is a tad ugly, but so were the faces of that basketball team that got Imus in trouble. Barack thinks she’s beautiful, and that’s all that really matters. On a positive note, not only doesn’t Michelle sweat much, but I think Michelle is better looking than Eleanor Roosevelt. Plus, I see uglier women than Michelle everyday at school. That yellow inauguration dress Michelle wore, though, wasn’t the best choice. Dave Letterman made a joke that when he first saw her on inaururation day,he had the urge to flag down a cab. I took a magazine and tried to view him a piece at a time. Is it his eyes – no. Ears mayby – no. I didn’t find anything attractive. Oh, mercy. I have finally found my people. I had previously only expressed my belief of MO’s bone-chilling ugliness to my close family, since it seems to be a very un-popular sentiment, what with all the fashion moguls and national magazines constantly telling us little people how beautiful she is. Every. Freaking. Issue. Now I know why the woman has nice arms: it’s the ONLY part of her body that can possibly become less misshappen.
Every time I see her in some thrown-on piece of crap outfit, I cringe. J Crew must be cranking out special sizes for her; NO WAY is she buying their jeans or pants off the rack. The tunic she wore in London last week (stripy one) was not only garish, it was fully inappropriate for wearing at Westminster Abbey. The pink Lanvin tennis shoes to a soup kitchen! Don’t get me started! This woman has drunk her own Kool-Aid. It has nothing to do with her color. I for one will never, never, NEVER trust a magazine again that tells me she has any sense of grace or style.
If her latest “look” is what a full-time stylist and makeup artist are being paid for, we taxpayers are being royally f’d. I’ve seen trannies that look more feminine with a hell of a lot less work involved.

The catty remarks about Michelle’s looks are from people who either think they are beautiful or have spent their whole life being lauded as some example of natural beauty and wonder why their looks haven’t opened doors for them.
Stop comparing her to other black women – Tyra Banks ain’t got a man. To this day Beyonce and JayZ have never acknowledged their marriage, she’s been his concubine for at least 8 years. Vanessa Williams made history being the first black Miss America but ruined it when pictures of her privates were splashed across the world.
