On Tuesday, January 20th, 2009, Barack Obama will be sworn in as the nation’s 44th president. Can’t make it to Washington D.C.? Don’t have any friends to celebrate with? No problem! Have your own mini inauguration celebration in the privacy of your own home. Here are some ideas.
1) Rip out twenty pages from your favorite book. Then, as Obama is being sworn in, throw them up in the air and scream loudly as they fall down around you.
2) Eat a pint of Yes Pecan in 30 seconds or less.
3) Play yourself at checkers and let yourself win. It’s your day.
4) Buy a box of hair dye, then call your neighbors and tell them “CHANGE IS COMING.”
5) Write the word “sunshine” on a piece of paper – and then walk on it.
HAVE FUN!
