David Beckman, Sean Connery, and Keanu Reeves are being used to sell a sex drug in China without their permission, and in turn are being made fun of by an entire nation that now believes they can’t get it up. (And you thought YOU had a bad weekend?)
In the 30 second commercial for a Viagra-like drug called “USA Selikon,” Chinese voice-overs are dubbed over footage of the 3 men, making it appear as if they’re endorsing the product. Here is a transcript of their unintentionally hysterical lines:
David Beckham: “Want to know how I can keep being strong and running on the football field? USA Selikon capsules help me a lot!” …and the clincher, “It’s also the secret weapon with which I can satisfy Victoria!”
Keanu Reeves giving an interview: “The feelings after my kidneys got washed by USA Selikon capsules are surprising. And my girlfriends were also surprised!”
Sean Connery: “I turned 70 this year. But with the help of USA Selikon capsules, I was praised by Barbara that I’m still THE James Bond, forever 25. I have told all my aged friends they should try USA Selikon capsules!”
Apparently, Chinese fans think the ads are legitimate and are making fun of Beckham, Reeves and Connery for their participation.
