Move over, Brett Somers and Charles Nelson Reilly! Make way for Sarah Silverman and Norm MacDonald, who recently filmed the pilot episode for TBS’ updated version of “Match Game” – the show where celebrities answer open-ended, fill-in-the-blank questions and hilarity almost always ensues.
Alongside Silverman and MacDonald were Bob Einstein (Curb Your Enthusiasm), Scott Thompson (Kids in the Hall), Niecy Nash (Reno 911), and Rashida Jones (The Office). The episode was hosted by Andrew Daly (Semi-Pro) and famed comic writer Robert Smigel was the executive producer.
Match Game, which debuted in 1962, is best known for its cheeky double-entendre humor. Regulars on the show, hosted by Gene Rayburn, included Betty White, Richard Dawson, Fannie Flagg, and Nipsey Russell. Reruns of the show are currently airing on the Game Show Network.
(As of this writing, TBS has not yet set an air date for the new Match Game premiere.)

With Sarah Silverman in this, it will be hysterical. I’ve been wondering what she’s been up to lately!
