The Internet Fixed Ralph Lauren’s Ad

Sometimes, things go horribly wrong, as was the case with the Ralph Lauren print ad that’s had the internet in a tizzy over the past week. A website called BoingBoing wrote a post about the ad, in which they poked fun at how unrealistically emaciated the female model looked. In the most ridiculous legal move since that woman sued McDonalds because her coffee was too hot, Ralph Lauren threatened to sue BoingBoing because they reprinted their ad without permission. BoingBoing responded to the threat by re-posting the photo, which roughly translates to “blow me, dickwad” in the blogging world.

Some ingenious people on the internet decided to help Ralph Lauren out by making some subtle tweaks to the ad. Here are the funniest results:
