Will Wingfield was thrown off of So You Think You Can Dance tonight! My faith in the American public has been renewed!
THE RESULTS:
The bottom two guys tonight were: WILL WINGFIELD and STEPHEN “TWITCH” BOSS
The bottom two girls tonight were: COMFORT FEDOKE and COURTNEY GALIANO
Ultimately, Comfort and Will were kicked off the show. We’re now down to the final six dancers.

When I saw it was down to Will and Twitch, I knew Will would be going home. (Twitch has a very strong following) I’m actually quite glad Will was voted off. It would have been anti-climatic if he had won the whole thing, since the judges have been so obviously in the bag for him. Yes, he’s talented. Yes, he’s probably more talented than all of the other guys. He was trained by Debbie Allen! What else would you expect? I think this show is stronger when its people who are true unknown, undiscovered talent who make it to the top. Will is going to make it, with or without SYTYCD.
I hope this means Mrs. Allen will be returning as a judge. Whee!

I second that notion Lanie! I knew there was no way in hell that Twitch would be going home, and I was shocked that he was in the bottom two to begin with. My picks to win the whole show though, are Katee and Joshua.
The show SHOULD be a bunch of unknowns and I agree with you PH… WHOO HOO NO MORE WILL!

Finally, the Will-Worship ends. But did this teach the judges a lesson? Probably not, as evidenced by Nigel’s comment last night that sometimes the public thinks that a dancer is so popular, he is safe, and they don’t call for him.
Not in this case. America voted to protect a dancer that the judges have been unbelievably cruel to, and they expressed their displeasure about the blatant partiality shown to the judges little favorite.
I do think that America got it right with Comfort. She was long past her expiration date.

The judges ran Jessica off the show with her negative commentary too. I dont believe she was “injured” – Mia Michaels’ comments to her were VILE and just wrong.
Do the judges think the American public is stupid? We are not! And we proved that last night. I’m not buying Nigel’s weak explanation of “we thought Will was safe so we didn’t call to vote for him” bull. Face the facts, no one liked him from the beginning. Remember the first few episodes? Will was in the BOTTOM THREE for the first few weeks in a row. That’s when the judges really started to “up” their Will ass kissing and attempts to “brainwash” (as you said PH) the American public.
This seems to be the only website that has even noticed the obvious “Will Worship” (what a great name for it) that has been going on this season and what a relief. If I had to read on one more site what a genius Will was I might have thrown up!!!

Will Worship! I love it. I am so glad he is gone. He shouldn’t have been there to begin with.
And here’s a thought: if he was as great as the judges and choreographers said he was, why didn’t he have a fabulous dancing gig already?
The judges HAVE been gunning for Will, literally since week one. On the “top 20″ show, they called him “THE ONE TO BEAT.” But yet, during the results show, he was in the bottom 3 dancers. Of course the judges put him through.
The next week, on the “top 18″ show, Mia Michaels said to Jessica, “if you have a partner like Will, you have to set yourself on fire.” Please.
Bottom line: Nigel is full of sh-t. The American public didn’t vote for Will because he is incredibly unlikeable, and because he’s a mediocre dancer at best… especially when compared to the likes of Joshua, Mark, and Twitch.

i dont agree with you guys about will. let’s be honest, will was the most talented person on that show. whether the judges kissed his ass or not he was talened and worked his ass off to get that praise. i dont think it was right for them to play jessica the way they did. i acutually do believe she was talened but because they bigged him up does not mean yall should hate on him. give him his props!!!!!! but like you said he will be sucessful anyway you put it. im out!

i don’t think will was the most talented dancer, at all. i have never seen him do one thing that has made me stop and go “wow” – and i have watched every episode! he is very ordinary as a dancer, a dime a dozen. you’ll find people like him all over the place, off broadway.
will does not touch the talent of joshua for technical skill, or twitch for entertainment value alone. i am surprised will lasted it on the show this long!

Jealousy is a terrible thing. He legitimately won a full schlorship to the Debbie Allen Dance Academy. He is not a personal friend of hers. You are all bashing him for that. He did not ask the judges to keep bringing that up. also if you review their critiques of his performances, they did give constructive criticism when warranted. You all sound like high school kids picking on the guy with the most brains or talent. Get over it. He is way too talented and professional for this show.
also Josuha is constantly praised by Cat.She even says vote for Josuha because she likes him as a person so much.I thought this show was about dancing.

Oh give me a break. People have nothing to come at you with so they say you’re “JEALOUS.” Talk about sounding like a high school kid. Jealousy has nothing to do with it.
How can I be jealous of a dancer when I don’t want to be one? That’s like saying I’m a vegetarian who is jealous of my butcher. Personally, if I’m jealous of anyone, it’s of Cat – she is beautiful.
Lots of people win scholarships to dance academies, that doesn’t make him an incredibly talented dancer. That makes him LUCKY and PRIVILEGED.
The way the judges, especially Mia, treated Jessica was revolting and inexcusable. And the fact that a contestant had ANY connection to ANY “friend of the show” is REVOLTING!!!!!
*** I can’t even win a used CD from a radio station if I’m best friends with the producer’s neighbor’s daughter, yet Will can be on one of the world’s biggest dance stages? HOW IS THAT FAIR.
