After several repeat performances of “favorite” dances, a weak performance by the Jonas brothers, an underwhelming routine by judge Mary Murphy, and a tap dance routine danced by judge Nigel Lythgoe himself, JOSHUA ALLEN won So You Think You Can Dance (Season 4). He won $250,000 and the title of “America’s Favorite Dancer.”
Twitch was the runner up. He walked away with, well, nothing.
Katee was the “best girl” and won a surprise $50k. Courtney was America’s 4th favorite dancer.
No, Mia Michaels didn’t dance. She must have been too busy applying bleach to her roots, staring in the mirror, and/or making up more stupid words.

Katee should not have gotten $50k. That’s not fair. I can understand if they would have rewarded all three contestants. How can you give a reward to 1st and 3rd and not reward 2nd.
That is just ridiculous. Twitch should have gotten something for making it to 2nd place. What does Twitch get for making it to 2nd. place but some flowers. Unreal!

Mary danced, Nigel Danced…. but where was Mia? Is she too talented to perform for the boring masses? Typical and predictable from that cow. If I never see that smug, arrogent, self righteous, troll on stage again, it wont be too soon.

I thought Nigel out danced Mary. I agree, I would have liked to see Mia Michaels dance instead of just running her mouth and ordering people around.
Joshua was my favorite dancer from the beginning and Twitch was my 2nd favorite so I couldn’t have had a better ending.

I am a trained dancer and the fact that Joshua won this competition makes me sick! His footwork was ABOMINABLE.

I’m not so sure Twitch actually finished 2nd in voting. I can see the production team having Katee being the told she did not win when they did so that they could then tell her there was a prize for the best dancer of the gender that did not win. If she was left on stage with Joshua in the “final two”, they would not be able to setup the 50K award as well since the focus would be on the winner.

Obviously I didn’t com in ANY place. I am not, nor would I want to be, a contestant on such a bogus show.
This is a dance show. A guy who is a horrible dancer won. If Twitch won it would have been even worse. That’s like having a show about eating and having an anorexic win. Stupid.

Chuckie, i think you’ll find the point of the show was to bring dance to the masses, a forum in which aspiring dancers could grow and learn. Their title at the end read “Favourite Dancer” not “Greatest dancer in the country” so it had more involved than just “great footwork” as you put it. 1) If you hate the show, why are you posting here and 2) remind me which company you dance for, so i can remember never to pay for a show involving it. Your pompous attitude demonstrates WHY you are not prepared to audition (because you’d be swiftly shown the door for your arrogance). Josh DID deserve to win the title of “favourite dancer” because he brought MORE to the screen than JUST fancy footwork.
