The Most Interesting Part Of The Presidential Debate: THE AUDIENCE!
Published on: October 8, 2008 – 11:29 am by Jillian Madison

If you missed last night’s Presidential debate between Obama and McCain, let me sum it up for you in one word: BORING.
I feel like I spent 90 minutes in some sort of hypnotic state, oddly mesmerized by those damn colored lights on the floor. Other than McCain pointing at Obama and snidely referring to him as “that one,” and McCain saying “my friends” more often than a teen talking about her Myspace account, I can hardly remember anything else that was said.
Bottom line: the most interesting, entertaining part of the evening was the weird audience. Where the hell did they find these people? Did a Red Lobster “All You Can Eat” buffet just close outside the studio?
Here are my observations:
1. THE “BUG-EYED LADY IN BLUE”
Has she been clinically diagnosed with something? Or has she just been wandering around untreated all this time? She spent the entire night looking like she was repeatedly arriving at some surprise party going on in her head. And her mouth never changed expressions – not even for a second.

2. THE OLD GUYS
Wow. The only 2 guys in the joint older than John McCain. One of them is sleeping. The other one doesn’t know if he’s at the Playboy Mansion, or on the 50 yard line at a Packers game.

3. THE SKEPTICAL TEEN
That’s right, “my friend.” Be very skeptical of anything that comes out of the old guy’s mouth.

4. THE KID WITH THE HELMET HAIR
Could he even hear anything that was going on through that thing? It sure does look dense, doesn’t it?

5. THE BALD GUY SECTION
Did they really have to seat all the bald guys in one area? What the hell was that? The Telly Savalas appreciation section?

6. THE WOMAN WITH THE PENIS HEAD
Close your eyes. Envision a penis. And now stare at the top of this woman’s head and tell me I’m crazy.

now that’s some funny shit
October 8th, 2008
Ok you are right, that was far more entertaining than the debate. I noticed that bug eyed woman in blue too! I didn’t think human eyes could function quite like that.
October 8th, 2008
John Mc Cain looked every bit the old man last night. Puttering around the stage muttering about his time in the war. I expected him to pull out a brandy snifter a smoking jacket, and dinner mints for the grandkids.
His refusal to shake Obama’s hand was this debate’s equivalent of calling Sen. Obama “that one”.
Mc Cain talks about “reaching across the aisle” but he won’t even shake his opponent’s hand.
October 8th, 2008
Great analysis. I would like to see a piece somewhere on the eratic behavior on the part of McCain and the senior moments of the debate as well. I saw a trainwreck. A Nixonian performance.
To my recollection there was a great deal of the bizarro on display.
- At one point, Obama was answering a question, speaking directly to an attendee in group F, and McCain was meandering behind him as if to get in the shot, gesturing strangely at Brokaw?
- Scribbling down the three priorities and then needing to ask for them again
- leaving the stage post haste
- post debate – meandering unassuredly on the stage for a few moments before his quick retreat
- That one
- Not you, Tom
- stumbling over his words repeatedly
- Not connecting well with attendees, uncomfortable in his face to face approaches
These are just some of the items I observed which created altogether a pattern; the picture of an aimless man whose time on the stage painfully showcased that he is unqualified to lead.
October 8th, 2008
McCain paced around the stage like an old, tired lion at the zoo. I kept waiting for him to walk over to Obama, lift his leg and pee on him like he was marking territory.
October 8th, 2008
OMG that woman’s head DOES look like a penis.
October 8th, 2008

“2. THE OLD GUYS”
I had no idea Statler & Waldorf were into politics.
October 8th, 2008
Thanks for this, it was really funny and gave us all a laugh here in cubicle land.
These people look like they’re from 1975! That kid with the helmet hair made me spit out my water. I know people say that all the time. And they’re usually lying. I’m not. :)
October 8th, 2008
That “bug eyed lady in blue” was terrifying. I was staring at her all night. I could not avert my eyes.
October 8th, 2008
Wow, that was awesome! I sat through the debates last night, but I didn’t really watch them that much because the speeches were boring. Now I wish I had paid closer attention with my eyes and not just my ears. Really, really funny pictures.

The guy with the Helmet Head is part of a very common species down here. We call them Southern Boys. I find it interesting when the Souther Boy places his ball cap over his helmet head allowing an ample amount of bang hair exposed.
Places you might see a Southern Boy.
* A frat house
* Off road truck 4×4 area
* The lake
* A frat house
* Dave Matthews or Widespread Panic concert

Great post, I look forward to checking out the rest of your page and podcast.

Nashville Photographer – damn funny. and impressive photos, just checked out your site!
the bug eyed woman looked panic stricken the entire time. like she realized she forgot to add the fabric softener.
That debate was so boring. This post made me glad I watched it though. thanks for the laughs
October 8th, 2008
Wait a minute, youre forgetting the best one.. did you notice Montgomery Jefferson Beauregard with his distinguished mustache sitting at the back row?
October 8th, 2008
Nashville Photographer, that is hilarious, and absolutely 100% true. Sometimes they even want a more casual look and will place a baseball cap on their wet helmet heads and dry the hair that hangs out straight up, causing somewhat of a flipped-up bowl-head effect.
Great post, and great comments.
October 8th, 2008
What about the man with P. Head??? Mc’cain
October 8th, 2008
penis heaaaaaaaaadd
October 8th, 2008
Sue, my thoughts exactly! There were two guys in the back row with matching mustaches. They looked like serial killers.
October 8th, 2008
Thank you so much for this great laugh. I laughed so hard I threw up that book I was hiding from Sarah Palin.
October 8th, 2008
How can you forget the “To Catch a Predator” guy with the blond mustache, next to bug eyes. My friends and I noted that he looked like he was wanted in 6 states, then RIGHT AFTER we said that, he did this creepy finger drag over his mustache with thumb and pointer finger.
October 8th, 2008
I’m glad I’m not the only one who noticed the sleeping old man in the burgundy blazer.
*giggle*

McCain just came across as a grumpy, feeble old man. I half expected him to start shouting “You kids get out of my begonias!”
October 9th, 2008
You missed the 13 year old kid that wore a suit and looked incredibly bored the whole time:
In this picture he’s on the last seat in the middle right section:

Ok, the bug eyed thing is mean. Because there are certain conditions that can cause this, thyroid conditions in particular.
October 9th, 2008
They’re all reptilians.
October 9th, 2008
You totally missed out on one of the ladies!
There was a blonde lady in the audience that totally resembled Dr. Zira from Planet of the Apes!!!
I don’t know how to explain it, but a friend of mine looked at each other and said it simultaneously, so we couldn’t have been the only ones to see it!
October 9th, 2008
Hahaha “women with penis hat” LMAO
Hahahahahahahahahahaha Gawd make me stop hahaahahahaahahaa
October 9th, 2008
i think the kid with the helmet is cute.
October 9th, 2008
I normally don’t comment on blog posts but this one not only made me laugh out loud (lucky I wasn’t drinking milk) but even my 3 year old was laughing at the helmet headed kid. Of course, the woman with the penis head is also hilarious. Great post!

ROFLMAO!! Well now this is debate news I can get behind!!
October 10th, 2008
If you people like Obama that is fine. You can sit around and bash Mc Cain all you want to. Point is your guy will destroy the American economy and only drive us into a depression! He says he is not going to raise taxes but plans on spending an additional trillion! where do you think it is going to come from… Just the top 5% right? Not only that he plans on getting rid of the Bush tax cuts, so although he is not raising them they will still go up! I think that he is a true believer in what he says but I respectively disagree. He is just fundamentally wrong on economics!
And on a funny note if you try to spell check Obama it says “Osama”! HA that is just about right!!!
October 10th, 2008
you forgot the lady falling asleep behind the skeptical teen
October 10th, 2008
I hope the lady with the penis hair style sees this & gives her stylist the chop.
October 10th, 2008
I lol’d hard at the helmet hair kid.
October 10th, 2008
Heidi, your statement above about McCain marking his territory really cracked me up. Here’s the deal: McCain, if you’ll really do that I guarantee you my vote. No if’s, and’s, or but’s. It’s yours just for peeing on that wanker Obama.
October 10th, 2008
Gr-avatars aside, you’re so kind of calling it boring. This exchange was worse than any I’ve seen so far: the guys are repetitious, as if their clientele were made of dumbells (oops, is it, really?); the guys are too but too careful, except Mc’Goo with his technique of downgrading his adnirals, just like he done to his dad, he was finally promoted to Admiral Mc’caque, with his ways of pointing to “That one” as if that one were a clown or his children…
Frankly, the economy looks less meagre than this tv crap.
Call John Kennedy, will ya…
No, no… not nix-Nixon…
October 10th, 2008
wowee WOW
October 10th, 2008
That ‘bug-eyed’ appearance is one of the classic symptoms of long-term hyperthyroidism. This woman ought to see a doctor.
The kid with the helmet hair ought to go to the same stylist the penis-haired woman goes to!
October 10th, 2008
Oh my god. that kid’s hair is exactly like mine.

October 10th, 2008
lmfao, that’s fucking hilarious! also stumbled upon this, I love it!
October 10th, 2008
OK….I must admit…great post. Yes it was a lot of hem-hawing around….dodging the real questions…taking too much of their time limits. I got fed up and turned it off after a while. Now for the bug eyed lady…in her defense…if she had hyperthyroidism…then her eyes will bug out…but the smile….come on…I think she was eying one of the candidates…hoping to get lucky….lol

October 10th, 2008
and did you notice mccain didnt look at obama the whole time. that just shows his lack of respect for people.
October 11th, 2008
Interesting post RCK… I don’t think that anybody who becomes president will do an amazing job due to everything that is going on. I think they’ll only do the best they can, just as they did during the depression. They had no idea what to do but they still tried out anything they could think of to fix our economical problems. Having said that, I DO support Obama and I don’t judge others for wanting to vote for McCain. What I DO remind them is that McCain is old and he seems that he could kick the bucket any day which would leave who as our president? That’s right, Sarah Palin. Personally, I’d rather die or leave the country than have Sarah Palin as my president, but that is just me. In addition to what I just posted, it’s always pathetic that people must resort to judging someone’s ability to run for office solely on their name.
Great pictures, I got a good laugh out of them. You have to love stumble upon, even if it’s oddly addicting.
October 11th, 2008
This really is one of the funniest things I have seen in a long time. Thank you for this great post.
October 11th, 2008
You TOTALLY missed the ten minutes Obama spent talking directly to the ONLY OTHER BLACK MAN THERE. thats what had me on the floor hahahaa.
October 11th, 2008
LMAO. totally cracked me up.
October 11th, 2008
lolzz…dis ws realllyy fooney!!!damn entertaining!!
October 11th, 2008
funny.. i was actually thinking the same thing watching the debate.. you missed the random black guy that looked like he was about to shoot mCane
October 11th, 2008
You did also miss the part at the end, when McCain and Obama started to stand side by side for a photo op, and got in the way of moderator’s telepromter!
I also think that it is funny when the moderator kept having to remind the candidates about the time, the best part: “Now you two, we have these lights right behind me, red means stop, green means go, please obey them.” Sometimes I wondered if they were going to start playing music like at the Oscars to get the candidates to stop speaking!
October 11th, 2008
Well done!
October 11th, 2008
These pictures rock, that lady creeps me out idk if could take those eyes being on me for more than like 3 seconds though so i give some credit to McCain and Obama for dealing with it the whole time.

October 11th, 2008
hahahhahahahahahhhahahhaahahahahha almost died
October 11th, 2008
OK Alicia,
I agree it is pathetic that people must resort to judging someone’s ability to run for office solely on their name. That is why I said “on a funny note.” Further more if you don’t want to live here under Sara then just go ahead and get out! I believe even with a bad president America is still the greatest country around. We have had bad presidents before. Yet here we are still on top, and no, you can’t disagree! Just what is it about her that you don’t like? She is inexperienced, right… Well guess who has less experience then her? Thats right Obama! Anything else? Oh yeah, that she hasn’t done anything major. Well neither has “That one”! All he has really done is vote “present” on bills, that he can’t make his mind up on. Do you want him in the oval office when there is a big decision to be made? Other than teaching sex ed to 1st graders, and against the rights of a baby who was born even though its mother tried to have an abortion? But seriously if you have some information or accomplishments of Obama please let me know. Now on the other hand, Palin hasn’t done anything major either, but she tried! One, she wanted to sell her government supplied personal jet on E-Bay, but there were no buyers. Hell she even gave the Alaskans back some of their gasoline tax money. Oh no not someone who actually cares about the people and their wallets!!! Sure so does Obama right? WRONG! He says he doesn’t but if you go and look at his record he has fallen in line with all the super liberals when it comes to raising taxes. But now oh no he is just going to up and kick his old habit to the curb. I think not! Ya she may not be as experienced as I would like but she isn’t running for president either. And just so you know I think it is pathetic that people must resort to judging someone’s age when choosing the next president, so lets not be so petty!
October 12th, 2008
funny!
October 12th, 2008
wow a RCK because sarah pail definately knows what she doing because she governs *cough* 5,000 people cough* and we all now why McCAin picked her becuase he wanted a family figure that coul bring in the women voters that he didnt have . a 12 year old could have figured that out.
and ALICIA knows what she tlking about

Slanted!! Can’t even cut up on the audience without dishing a few to McCain? Don’t get me wrong I lol’d but I can’t even imagine how you could have missed the 4-5 crotch readjustments by Obama. No wonder that woman’s eyes were so bugged.

I think I’m going to go out right now for a penis-do. Fer sure.
October 12th, 2008
hey br4nd0n!
Last I checked MR. Obama doesn’t govern anyone! Where are his credentials? If you could enlighten me that would be great, but you can’t! Can you? Mr. O has no credentials, furthermore I encourage you to try and dig some up. Then you will see him for what he really is. He is deceiving the American people and all of those poor fools who believe in his “change” will see a huge “change” if he wins. Just not the one he promised! If you like him you like him, and that is fine. I just ask you know who you like! Don’t be led like a lamb to the slaughter! Take some of your valuable time and look at the facts… For both sides! Educate yourself and you might see that he is not the person you thought he was! So br4nd0n why don’t you go do that and stop resorting to poking fun at the party’s and make an educated decision based on facts and thing that actually matter! Instead of acting like a “12 year old” why don’t you act like an adult! This isn’t a popularity contest in your high school, it is for the most important job in the world! And I find Obama lacking!
October 12th, 2008
OMG!!! the penis head lady was soooo my liberiarin haha every time i look at her i am gonna break out laughing!!
October 13th, 2008
The photo of the bug eyed lady is totally photoshopped! nobody really looks like that
October 13th, 2008
I totally caught the old guy sleeping when I was watching it on tv, wondering how long it would take before I saw a blog post about it. congrats, lol. Also the kid with the bad helmet hair, haha. classic. This is one of those things where people will watch the clip 30 years from now and go, “wait, did people back then actually think that looked good?”. The answer, “no, we thought it looked just as ridiculous as you do.”
October 13th, 2008
To all of the people out there who think that there is some correlation between a presidential hopeful’s political experience and their ability to govern our country, I give you this:
The prerequisites for candidacy to the office of President of the United States are Age 35, 14 years living within the US, and being a natural-born citizen of the US. Note that experience of ANY SORT is not necessary. I’m pretty sure that this was left out intentionally by the founding fathers, since it would have made all of them ineligible for the office. As a matter of fact, the candidate doesn’t even have to desire to be the president at all to be elected. George Washington’s two-term presidency is proof of this.
Let me go a little bit further and point out that Abraham Lincoln, arguably the best president of all time, was a lawyer who had served a single term in the House of Representatives (and then took time off to go back to law) before his presidential campaign took him to the White house in 1860.
He went on to reunite the country after it was ripped in two in the single worst moment in American history. He freed the slaves. He was instrumental in defining the republican party in its early years. He signed the Homestead Act, which opened up huge expanses of the west for purchase by folks like you and I to live in and raise families. The dollar bills we use every day did not exist before his presidency.
This man changed the United States in such fundamental ways that one could put up the argument that we became a completely new and different country but kept the old name. All of this with less governing experience than either Obama or Palin, but slightly more than Washington, John Adams, Jefferson, and many other early presidents.
Let me restate that previous point more clearly: The majority of our founding fathers had LESS experience in government than Obama or Palin. I’ll venture a guess that creating a country from scratch is slightly harder than continuing to run the most firmly established, most powerful country in the world. Basically the job is to press the auto pilot button and sit back in the cooshy chair compared to what some of the earlier guys had to do. That’s a severe understatement of the role, but I’m sure the point came across. If not, feel free to re-read, ad nauseum.
The experience argument is so flawed that it is laughable. Please stop using this as a basis for reasoning against a candidate. It only makes everyone around you think you are less intelligent than them. Worse yet, it actually reveals that you are incapable of free thought, since your argument is just a regurgitation of someone else’s words designed to sway your opinion with what at first glance appears to be common sense. Politicians love these kinds of people.
While I have written this in as subjective a manner as possible, I will admit that RCK’s pro McCain/anti Obama posts are my impetus for writing, and I encourage him/her to do the same self-educating and mind opening exercises that he/she has begged Br4nd0n to partake in. That being said, I do respect RCK’s opinion of finding Obama lacking, but we will have to agree to disagree. As is noted above, experience means little to a candidate as long as they have the will to do great things to further the progress of this country, and are willing to rule for their people, and not to the detriment of their people.
I think that each candidate in this race intends to do just that. Stop the fear mongering and prophesies of the inevitable doomsday that will come at the election of the guy you don’t want to win. One of these two imperfect candidates will win this race. They will either go on to do great things and win the hearts of us all, or fail miserably to please the majority of the people and fall into obscurity like most presidents do (except Obama…by nature of his race and our pathetic inability to resist classifying him by it, he will either be the first great black president or the first black president failure).
Neither of them will single-handedly destroy the country. If you believe that, then you must have so little faith in the United States of America that you might as well move somewhere else. We don’t need someone holding us back with nonsense and nay-saying. Lets get back to keeping America together before the next election rips it back in two.
Thank you for reading. I hope it proved interesting whether or not you agree with the points I’ve made. Keep a free mind and read subjective, verified materials (not campaign advertisements or offhand comments made by the opposition, and not spam emails saying someone is an underground muslim terrorist or that someone secretly gang-raped a vitnamese girl with their platoon while on patrol in ‘Nam back in the 60’s). Most importantly, research both sides so that:
A. You can make an informed decision
B. You don’t sound like a biased idiot that’s parroting the garbage some politician needs you to believe so they can win your vote, and;
C. You can be a responsible member of society by being productive rather than destructive in regards to your attitudes toward the results of the election, regardless of its outcome.
Think freely.
October 13th, 2008
Hahahaha. Great article.

Oh, by the way, the bug eyed lady nearly made me piss myself laughing when I scrolled down to that second pic. That is one of the most frightening things I have seen in my life. If you are the bug eyed lady, I apologize for making fun of you…but you will have your revenge in my nightmares.

Free thinker Collin
OK here we go… Thank you for telling everyone to be free thinkers! I do think of my self as well educated in politics, you may disagree but no one has proven me wrong yet. Now I do realize that a lot of the American presidents have not come with experience, the only reason I brought it up was to make a point to all of the morons who keep bashing Palin for her “lack of experience.” You are right, if you think either one of the candidates will ruin America your wrong. As I stated before we have survived bad presidents before, and we are still on top. But I do think that it should raise concern that Obama is being treated like Christ the almighty in the second coming! I know that is an exaggeration but if McCain had a friend that said after 9/11 he wish he did more bombings and wasn’t sorry for the bombings he had committed the media and all of the super liberals would have a field day. And the same goes for having a spiritual leader whom says, and I quote “GOD DAMN AMERICA!” That being said Obama can be pals with whomever he pleases, and we shouldn’t hold it against him. But I think it shows an insight to who the real Obama is. Also a man who wants to be the president of this great country yet he doesn’t cover his heart during the pledge of allegiance! I don’t have to do any research I saw it with my own eyes! It is funny to think that you believe in Obama, you write as if you were a smart individual. You even tell everyone to do the right thing and research “subjective, verified materials (not campaign advertisements or offhand comments made by the opposition, and not spam emails.” and to “research both sides” That being said I just got to know have you taken your own advice? Because if you are the intelligent person you claim to be and have done your homework you would know that any one man cannot bring down America but can set it up for failure with the house and the senate in their back pocket! Mr O. is the most liberal spender in the senate, and your telling me he is the better man on economics? Get out of here! As I said before Obamas economic plan will drive America straight into a depression! He IS far to inexperienced to handle what this job entails. And no I’m not saying you have to have experience to be the president but I am saying that that person can’t be a moron!
OK I will try to educate you. Its a tall order but I will give it my all.
Basic economics, we are in a tight spot. No matter who is to blame (the democrats) the situation remains the same. How do we fix it? The bail out, bad idea. To late for that one! Now that that is done where do we go from there? I’ll tell you where, less government spending!!! Cut everywhere we can! Lower taxes on everyone! If you give big company’s breaks it helps them out and by doing that they can lower their prices and maintain their profits all the while keeping my wallet from having moths in it! And yes that includes oil company’s. Everyone is jumping on the band wagon in hating them for making a profit! Isn’t that what a company is supposed to do? The liberals and the democrats don’t want to tell you the percentage per gallon is tax money. It ranges from 29% all the way to the mid 40s! Now you tell me if you had a business that found the oil, harvested the oil, and refined the oil, and the government took that big of chunk out of your profit you would not raise the price to keep the money flowing? Don’t you dare lie! Don’t worry I’m getting back to the point. We need to drill…NOW! If we do it now we can be off of foreign oil in 10 short years. Then guess what all of that money we save once we become independent can go to alternative energy. You tell me that won’t help our economic problem. However if “That one” is in office he will probably find a way to spend all of the money we save. That’s right I have no confidence in him to use the savings wisely. And that is based on his record! Don’t get me wrong I’m not saying McCain is perfect but he will get us get past this. That being said all of the “experts” in the world of economics said the bail out was a bad idea, and that it would work itself out. We don’t need a moron in there trying to fix something he knows nothing about! Just leave it alone and heed the experts advice! We don’t need someone who is going to spend, spend, spend, and make government bigger! Big government is the problem! Another thing I really don’t like is when a politician says “we are going to take money.” There is something about that word “TAKE” that doesn’t sit well with me. Mr. Joe Biden, just where do you get off? I would like you to show me in the constitution where it says you can do that!!!
So what is my conclusion?
1) We as a people need to educate ourselves
2) We need to read between the lines
3) Use some common sense when we go to the poles
4) Those without common sense stay away from the voting booths
and
5) Those who say they want to leave the country if McCain wins and then dies and leaves Palin in charge, Well you can just get the hell out of my great country!

Rck, Shut the hell up.
October 13th, 2008
Sophie, you are truly one of the most ignorant people I have ever encountered. If you are going to successfully silence me you need to give me your point on any one topic! If you don’t have a point or for that matter anything remotely intelligent to say then YOU NEED TO SHUT UP! Stop hiding your point and speak up. Or do you not have one and just falling in with the crowd? Please just go and educate yourself. You sound like a fool!!!
Looking forward to an educated response and not one that is lashing out because you don’t like to hear the truth!
Thanks

Free Thinker Collin,
Your post is so ridiculous, I don’t really know where to start. Your statements epitomize the problem with the populous, and the media. You guys fail to see the real problems with your candidate because the media is not covering them. It is biased, therefore, the information you are getting is biased.
Just b/c the requirements for presidency are minimal, doesn’t mean we should go for somebody with minimal experience. Really? Just b/c it’s not required? I know that you are just chiming in on their argument, but you are not making a good point. Our past presidents were good, I agree. However, our founding fathers had different ideas. They were willing to give up everything they had for the better of the nation. When was the last time you saw that in a candidate? They are just looking out for number one. How is it that they leave the office 3-4x as wealthy as when they came in? Running the country back then was much different than now. For you to say. “Basically the job is to press the auto pilot button and sit back in the cooshy chair compared to what some of the earlier guys had to do” is just ludicrous. Do you seriously believe our country is EASIER to run now than before? You don’t think with all of the technological advances that have occurred in the past 233 years, that the world has gotten a little more complicated? You don’t think that the presidents of today are dealing with more problems than Abraham Lincoln? With Iraq, the west bank, Russia, Cuba, North Korea, a possible depression, and Nuclear weapons? We are in a different world, and for you not to acknowledge that further proves my point.
Now, as far as surviving a bad presidency goes, sure we will survive. We always have, but what you are failing to acknowledge is what changes are made by one president could alter the course of our history for a long, long time. Lets take a short look back to some bad decisions that have haunted us for several years, since you like history so much. 1)The Federal Reserve. We have a private banking system controlling all of our currency. We, as a country, are borrowing money from a private bank and paying it back with interest. If you like this idea so much, just sign your checks over to me, and when you need some money, I will lend you some of your own money at an interest rate. Not only that, but they allow the “fed” to control inflation as well. Signed in to law by Woodrow Wilson.
You should research how it came to be in a secret meeting on Jekyll island. 2) Also since you like Lincoln so much, I hope that you are thanking him every time you get paid and “income tax” comes out of your check, because he started that. Sure, it was done to pay for the civil war, but I’m sure the government has made their money back by now. I know our founding fathers did not have that in mind when they fought the King off. 3) The community Reinvestment act signed into law by Jimmie Carter in 1977. Thought to have started this mortgage/lending crisis that destroying our economy as we speak. Do you really want MORE of this government regulation? It doesn’t seem to be helping us out much. By us, I mean YOU amd ME. WE THE PEOPLE.
So, to say that we will survive an bad president is true, but at what cost to you, me, and our children, or grandchildren? Think about the ties that the candidates have with organizations, and know that they will be influenced by them as past presidents have. Think to yourself if you would like those people influencing your future, b/c you can bet that they will influence their decisions, and actions. I would rather see to it that somebody with experience in tough situations, be in charge of making important decisions. Let’s learn from our mistakes in history. After all, isn’t that the point of history? To learn from those mistakes, and not make them again?
Don’t JUST think freely, but take a minute to do homework, research FACTS, past and present.

At least they are not yelling “Off with his head” and “Nobama”. Some of the McCain “audience” if you can call them that, I call them a mob; were on the point of rioting the other day. Even McCain was a bit shocked by the insane violent mentality and he tried to calm the beasts. They booed him. My god…. what kind of people are there in your country? No wonder Bush won – twice. No wonder all sorts of stuff…. no wonder….
Good luck to you all. You need it. Blessing America didn’t work too well for you, did it. God doesn’t visit anymore. Not since that slavery thing years and years ago. You’ve been praying to yourselves.

Dave and RCK,
RCK first. I’m glad to see you agree that people should do their homework and make an educated decision. What makes me crazy about your response is that you immediately went on the defensive and assumed that I am an Obama supporter purely because I called you out. Note that I never once showed favor in my argument. I merely showed that experience is not necessary. You assumed that because you are pro McCain that I must be pro Obama because I disagreed with a portion of your statements. You read far too much into that, and then went on a rant that was completely unnessecary. Go on and vote for whoever you want to, but make no assumptions about me. My vote has yet to be decided upon.
And as long as I’m talking about assumptions, I’ll move on to Dave. It seems that you and I can also agree on a great many things. But your assumption that I am unable to see “my” candidate’s weaknesses because they are not covered by the media is totally unfounded. First, I have no idea how you know who I am voting for, since I have yet to make the final decision myself. I have to believe you fell in line with RCK’s assumption that I am a die hard Obama man. To that, I will reiterate that just because I do not agree with you does not mean that I support the candidate you appose. That’s like saying you like turkey sandwiches but I don’t, so I must be a vegetarian.
The second assumption you’ve made is that I’m willing to go with someone of minimal experience because experience is not required. I did not say that. You read into it what you wanted and you put words in my mouth. I discredited the argument that experience is totally necessary, which, by law, it is not.
Also, you open up with the statement that my post was “so ridiculous”, and then go on to make an argument that is so totally off topic from my post that it cannot be seen as a real rebuttal. I’ll make an assumption here, myself. I’ll go ahead and assume that you got yourself all worked up after you thought you had weeded out an Obama supporter that you typed the first thing you thought without regards to the point that you were eventually intending on making. Perhaps I’m wrong, but I can’t think of any other reason you decided to type that whole thing out.
Then you go on to say that I fail to acknowledge that the actions of any given president have a lasting effect on the country. I think I acknowledged it quite obviously in my Lincoln paragraphs. I made the point that his presidency forged our country anew. What I didn’t do was focus purely on the negative consequences of a president’s actions, which puts me at odds with your way of presenting the subject.
I totally agree that the presidents choices can and do make lasting consequences, but not all of those consequences are bad. I’ll use one of your “bad” choices here. Tell me, if you are upset with the income tax, are you willing to give up all of the amenities that it pays for? If you are, then more power to you. Feel free to stop taking advantage of nearly everything that makes our country modern, since a sizable chunk of it is paid for through those taxes. Yes, it sucks to pay taxes, but just because it sucks to pay them doesn’t make the federal income tax a totally bad thing. We reap a ton of benefits from it, including our rank as the most powerful nation in the world.
As far as the country being easier to run than before, I honestly do believe it is easier to run a unified country than starting a new one and running it, and I also think it is easier than reuniting a country that has been ripped in two and destroyed by war. If you recall, I stated very clearly that my autopilot example was an extreme understatement, but I’ll stand behind it as a relatively accurate description of the job now when compared to the forging and reforging years.
Iraq, Iran, etc are comparable to the major problems that our past presidents have faced and gotten past. They are part of the presidential experience, and stuff like this has been and will always be an issue. I’m not saying that they are small tasks, but they are the problems of this generations time, much like the problems of the past. I will concede that the nuclear threat is a larger, more dangerous beast, but until the nuclear war happens, it is still on par with some of the issues past presidents have had to deal with.
I guess the biggest problems I have with both of your arguments (aside from your unfounded assumptions about my voting tendencies) is that you both want to argue, but then your arguments don’t actually disagree with my post at all. In fact, both of you actually point out that you agree with my points. To quote Dave “Don’t JUST think freely, but take a minute to do homework, research FACTS, past and present”. Didn’t you just solidify my point perfectly with that statement? Funny that you’d choose to end your argument by paraphrasing my points exactly.
If you’d like to continue, feel free. If I have missed anything, call me out on it. Just make sure that you base your arguments upon what I have said, not what you are reading into it. I wonder what your posts would have looked like had you not made the assumption that I am an Obama supporter. I’ll guess that we’d be in agreement about a lot of things. I can tell that the two of you are intelligent people, so lets please keep this on that level.
I do have one further point to make on the experience/no experience front. In my opinion the candidates are on roughly equal footing here. I’ll explain, but keep in mind that my example is going to take a few leaps…
McCain wins the election. 6 months later, his ancient heart ceases to perform its functions and he drops dead (no, I don’t think that his age disqualifies him, so hold your tongue and keep reading). Palin is president, with very little experience.
Obama wins. He obviously has very little experience as well. Some racist nitwit decides to save the white man and pops Obama through the brain holder. Obama croaks. Biden is president, with many years of experience.
Both of these arguments are probably equally unlikely to occur, but the fact remains that they could. And no matter which you prefer, you have to acknowledge that either way, someone who has very little experience will be in a very important role. As far as I’m concerned, these two possibilities negate any sway the experience issue has. You may feel different, and that’s OK.

Free thinker Collin
Thanks for a civil post. You unlike many (Sophies)you are able to lay out a point and come to a conclusion. I didn’t mean to throw you in the lot with the Obama Nuts but if you thought that, my deepest apologize. That is a major insult! I guess I read to much into your post. The whole agreeing to disagree on the finding of Obam lacking was what threw me off. I got off on a tangent due to the majority of the SOPHIE’S out there that have nothing intelligent to add to this discussion (that’s right Sophie still waiting on a stupid comment from you!). So, sorry to put words in your mouth. I just thought while I’m posting something might as well give the ignorant some food for thought.
But seriously how can you still be in disarray after all of the stuff I have given you? Please check my FACTS out and see for your self. Maybe your decision will be made more clear.
OH SOPHIE ARE YOU STILL THINKING………………………………..
October 13th, 2008
I just find it very interesting that you feel so strong that you will be able to change anyone’s opinion on the matter. I’ve watched every debate, to fairly get both sides of the story, and have already made up my mind. Nothing you could say would change how I will vote.

AH SOPHIE
Lets not deceive each other on this one you had your mind made up before any of the information was given to you. That is how you and many like you are. You are the very definition of a moron. No matter how many facts or stories are told you will never change your mind. You choose to be uneducated and live in the darkness of what the media and spam mail say. You consider yourself a smart educated person and don’t need to research anything. This is your biggest failure! There are always two sides of the coin and both stories need to be told. You only know half of the story. So sorry I can’t help you but, those who don’t help themselves cannot be helped.
How unfortunate…
October 13th, 2008
Quite frankly you sound like an ass. You have no clue about anything about me, so don’t pretend like you have me all figured out. So, because I don’t agree with you, that means I’m not intelligent? Well, you must know best. I don’t have the time to devote to you, it would consume my entire day, and I’ve got better things to do. Don’t you have a job? You seem to have a lot of time to spend chatting away. I’m not sure why I’ve given up half my lunch on you, so I’m going to do myself a favor and get back to my job. And by the way, I never asked for your help. Maybe you can put all your passion into something more useful.

Spoken like a true sore looser. How sad. The truth be told I have a job as a Lead in a aircraft wheel and brake repair station. The fact is I know how I feel and I know the facts, I don’t have to take time to think about them and or find them purely for this discussion. I sometimes can’t help myself when it comes to people like you, I just think that you wouldn’t be so pathetic if I could just shove some information into your small small brain.
And one more thing you haven’t even tried to tell me any pros for your guy…
October 13th, 2008
HMMM, so far you’ve called me a unintelligent, ignorant, moron, sore looser, stupid woman with a small, small brain. And yet you still want me to tell you my political opinions? I don’t think I’d change your mind, nor would I want to, that’s for you to decide. I never said I disagreed with you to begin with. This is my last response, you seem like someone how likes to have the last word….

COME ON. THIS IS A HUMOR WEBSITE, PEOPLE. Lighten up and take your serious political discussions elsewhere.

Glad to see you con seed to me! And I did call you stupid but not a stupid woman, that would be sexist… Furthermore you are not those things due to your political views(which i still would like to hear) it was due to you saying shut the hell up with no reason to why you said that! If you have a point or opinion fine it is yours but if you don’t like mine tell me what specifically it is that you have a problem with or disagree with. Don’t give me stupidity! How can I officially call you stupid due to your views until you actually tell me what they are?!?!

I still think we other earthlings should be able to vote in your elections since you folks go around all over the world throwing your weight around. Bush has not only royally screwed you over but has annoyed the rest of us for eight tedious years. Since you insist on bullying everybody we should at least be able to have a say in who does that bullying. Personally I vote to ban those stupid republicans. They are worse than Nazis. Bush is a gangster and a thug. Try to elect Obama; he is at least intelligent and well-groomed…. and he speaks English. That would be nice for a change. BTW… how did that moron from Alaska ever get elected or is that a rude question? Who did she sleep with? What a joke. She really brings out the rednecks hey?

Dear RCK:
I would just like to point out that the claim that Obama is promoting sex ed for first graders is false. In fact, he supports grade appropriate education for first graders – information based more upon how to avoid sexual predators or kidnappers than sex ed. Just thought you might be interested since you mention facts repeatedly. I’m surprised no one else brought it up. I truly appreciate arguments based on facts rather than emotion, opinion or guesses and I thought you might, too! Have a nice day!

You are a freaking idiot of the worst verity! Your statement is so ridiculous I am dumbstruck! In reference to your “bullying” do you even have examples or just your dumb ass opinion? Let me guess the Iraq war right… If you don’t want to sound like a anti America wack job you should educate yourself. I have neither the time or the patience. That would be a novel and you still wouldn’t get it! Just know this America didn’t kill thousands of innocent people! You are politically restarted and have no business even speaking!

JoMamma what up?
Thanks for that tip. I watched a speech he gave saying that, however if you go and look at the actual plan it is still a bit advanced for my preference. It included the talk of what each organ is and that is OK(though it would be better taught by parents) but the part I didn’t like was when it gets into the touching of ones self(then says when others touch you its not OK) and when 2 boys or 2 girls like each other. That really needs to be taught at the house. And some religions think that is not OK. Due to the whole no religion in school we cant infringe on that. You tell me what you think…
have a nice day to you as well.

McCain/Palin are both utterly selfish and stupid individuals, it is frankly embarrassing for America that this race is even close. Everyone who can see beyond Obama’s colour is praying he will win, it is just too depressing to think that American voters cannot see through the McCain/Palin act. They are both totally thick individuals determined to get power for their own sake. Its not the media feeding us this, its just incredibly obvious to anyone watching the election.
People like Rck are the shame of America, they refuse to see the truth and seem to be on a special quest to ruin America. McCain and Palin are like peas in a pod, they both will do or say anything to get elected. The facts on Palin are well known…but McCain’s war record and everything he stands for are less well known. “That man” crashed 3 planes during his career and kept getting promoted because of his father, he was shot down in Vietnam because he did not follow instructions, while incarcerated he blabbed his guts out to get better prison treatment, and since he became involved in politics he has made numerous decisions based on othing more than his own enlightened self-interest. He almost became a Democrat for goodness sake as it seemed to offer him a way into power!
He is clearly a very disturbed and angry old man, his decision to pick Palin was the final proof that he is almost insanely selfish. He did not pick her to help run America, he picked her to help him get elected. He will be dead if she gets in power so why should he worry about her ability to lead? Also I have never heard anything quite so insincere as his “My Friends” talk…can Rck and people like him not see through this transparent attempt to suck up to strangers? And who in their right minds would call an audience like this his “friends” anyway?
The US needs to make a smart choice here, things like a new policy on Iraq, new health care policies, and a way to cut the shameful level of teen pregnancy are needed now. Under Bush the US has became an international joke, I have lived in America and know the people are not as stupid as McCain and Palin think they are. Come on America, have a laugh along the way but do the right thing and voye for Obama. I do not know much about him but there is no way he could be worse than McCain/Palin, they are almost certainly the worst pair to ever stand for office in any Western country.
Great photos too, just do not forget the importance of this election.

You are the “utterly selfish and stupid individual.” You said it your self! Sound familiar “I do not know much about him.” I highly recommend you stop being STUPID and go do some homework, maybe just maybe you will sound somewhat intelligent! That takes care of your stupidity, now for your selfish side… You say, “McCain/Palin are almost certainly the worst pair to ever stand for office in any Western country.” With very little facts to back it. Then you go on praising Obama as if he were a GOD!? Let me explain, you are so determined to get what you want(Obama) you don’t care of the consequences that he brings. As I posted before Obama will utterly destroy the economy in America! Hear are some facts so you can try to make an intelligent decision!
McCain did crash 3 planes…fact
He did get promoted as you said…fact
He was shot down in Vietnam because he did not follow instructions is a bit of an over statement. It was a misunderstanding and yes those things happen in war. So that point is debatable.
While incarcerated he blabbed his guts out to get better prison treatment…LIE! All of the interviews with other prisoners say otherwise.
Now that is cleared up I will attempt to educate you…
Obama wants to help the country right? He wants to tax the rich only right? Help the little guy right? HELL NO! He wants power as all the democrats do! They just want to run their fingers through everything! Part of the problem we face today is due to big government! You want the government to run health care? How in the hell do you think they can do that when they can’t even run the programs they already have?! Mr O wants to spend and addition trillion, how in the hell is that going to help our economy? IT ISN’T! He says he isn’t going to raise taxes…LIE! Although he will not raise them himself, he plans on cutting the Bush tax cuts. Guess what happens when he does that? They go back to the rate before the cut!!! SO THEY DO GO UP! YOU IDIOT! DO YOU KNOW NOTHING? From my understanding the American people are tired of paying out the ass at the pump… and Mr O wants to raise taxes on the oil company’s…? Once again he proves to be an idiot! If you raise their taxes the price will only go up, however if you lower them, the oil company’s can cut cost while maintaining their profit! What do you know then I still have a little money in my pocket after I fill up. That is just the tip of the iceberg on economics, if you want more do your homework!!!
Now to Mr O’s decision making… While in the Senate he did very little. If a bill was preposed that he either didn’t want to be held to a decision or that he couldn’t make one he would simply vote “present.” Now do you want him in the oval office when there is a big decision to be made??? Not I. Then you look at his judgment when it comes to friends. Rev Right, the man who says, “GOD DAMN AMERICA!” Then Mr O considers me so stupid that he can lie and say “I didn’t know he felt that way” Mr O sat in that church for 20 years and he didn’t know? Either he is def dumb or just stupid! Then you have the “White Terrorist” who says “I wish we could have done more” referring to the bombings on the capital the pentagon and several police buildings! I tell you all of what I just told you is in history and are now FACTS. Though you will most likely say that I am lying, and never look it up for yourself I hope others who are not a nitwit like yourself will. They may see the light and not turn a blind eye to the truth as YOU and most of the MEDIA do.
Folks you need to look these things up. Do your homework, there are two sides and both have pros and cons, weigh them wisley…
Sophie you are no longer the biggest idiot on here! Congratulations!

You are right but the reason the banks gave out those loans is due to the democrats pressuring them to do so. But thanks for the insight. If you look it up on Wikipedia you can learn all about the bills passed by Clinton.
Thanks

Hey mcswiggle and Pieter,
Did you get it? Or are you confused with the truth? You say all of your stupid theory’s and I can only assume to much of a coward to awnser back to a rebuttle filled with facts….
Now everyone can see how the Obama lovers really are. Once they are confronted with facts they run and hide!
Looking foward to hearing from you guys.
Thanks

Yes, the Penis Head was my librarian.
Really puts new meaning to “getting your head in the books…”
October 14th, 2008
Thanks for the info, RCK, I’ll look into his program. That certainly is one of the most delicate issues I can think of!
As for the economic crisis, there is plenty of blame to go around. I know Clinton lowered the bar for mortgages but I’m pretty sure that alone did not create this whole mess. I know of several people who are facing foreclosure who are not on welfare or food stamps, and in fact have huge houses and a boat and too many cars and lots of credit debt… It’s also the fault of the greedy banks getting too eager to loan money and training their new employees that if they sell a mortgage they will get a huge bonus – no matter if the person can afford it! Then it is also the fault of the greedy homeowners. Not all of them are greedy, but certainly some are living beyond their means and creating an untenable situation. They were excited about the incredible money being made in real estate and wanted in on the game – but came too late! On top of all of that you add in the Bush administration deregulation on the industry and *poof* housing bubble and crisis! It takes two to tango, and this is a dance the whole country is invited to now – and it’s only the beginning! Good luck to whomever tries to sort it out!!!

October 15th, 2008
This is too funny. What a great imagination you have…not that it took a lot in this case!!! LOL Nonetheless, I find you very creative, funny and insightful!!!! LOL This was a great post!
October 15th, 2008
VERY FUNNY!!
But keep in mind a few things 1) this is NASHVILLE – Hellooo!! You get Corn-fed Bubba, Church Lady-Librarian, teens not sure which decade their from (can teens be voters?) and the Grand Ol Opry in a suit and tie. Everyone thinks they look just like a country music star!
2) these are “undecided” voters. Imagine yourself without any deep convictions and see what YOU look like – vapid and dull like these zombies, no doubt.
3) They were all told to sit still, keep their hands in their laps, and keep their facial expressions neutral. That of course, made everyone look like idiots.
Can’t wait to see what the Hofstra crowd looks like – hopefully a little more intelligent, but who can say.

October 15th, 2008
lol I actually watched that debate and noticed the bug eyed lady right off the bat, I thought it was priceless when a lady seated right near her had a question to be answered so the camera was focued on her and the bug lady up close and in the back the bug lady was like twitching and smiling for some odd reason I couldn’t stop staring at her it was just freaky and probly the most entertaining part of the debate.
October 16th, 2008
I only saw her smiling when Obama was speaking, and inferred from that that she was secretly supportive of him and couldn’t contain herself. Either that or she was sitting on something squirmy. She did seem oddly pleased with herself and even my kid couldn’t help noticing her. The whole audience was freakish.
Then again, I live on a coast and have an education, which makes me a member of the “intellectual and/or cultural elite”
October 16th, 2008
Um. I’m pretty sure the helmet headed kid was in my graduating class from university last year.
October 16th, 2008
put your ears on and stop judging books by their covers. hollywood should not exist given the state of the world.
October 16th, 2008
That’s very creative and funny. While I rarely watch the debates for the audience, I wish there were more town-hall type debates so I can people watch.

October 16th, 2008
Rick,
I would find your arguments as to your education more believable if you could differentiate between TOO and TO, among other glaring spelling mistakes.
October 16th, 2008
This is for RCK,
You have repeatedly insulted the capabilities of Senator Obama and the intelligence of his supporters (and anyone that you ‘assume’ is an Obama supporter).
You claim that your insults are based upon the ignorance of individuals and their failure to educate themselves, however there are plenty of people that have educated themselves on both candidates and are perfectly capable individuals that will support Obama (even if you continue to abuse them on an internet forum). Just because someone is an Obama supporter doesn’t mean that they are uneducated.
You are a McCain supporter (as you have obviously pointed out) and even if you are presented with facts that for others would seem to dissuade them from voting for McCain I doubt that it would change your mind, no matter how much they insult you or scream at you from behind their computer screen. You are passionate about your choice for president and that is all well and good. Where I find fault is that your passion for your candidate has clouded your judgment of others and causes you to act in a manner very unbecoming. You can have a rational and intelligent debate with someone without needing to insult them. In many cases, I find that insults seem to cover up a lack of reasoning or indicate that an individual is unwilling to listen to another person’s argument. I admire that you acknowledged the facts presented by others. You claim McCain is experienced based partly upon his military service (which by many accounts was not a successful career for him), yet you still support him. This is an example of you looking past some flaws in your candidate because you still feel strongly about his capabilities. That is fine, but you really should extend the same courtesy to others and not insult their intelligence or take it upon yourself to “educate” them. Odds are they are educated and have made their choice whether or not you agree with it. I am sure that my priorities and your priorities and our opinions on how we feel that our country should be governed differ in many ways. I have a different viewpoint than you do and that influences my voting choice and so we differ. Why not just let it stand that we have a difference of opinion rather than insulting my intelligence?
I would like for you to tell me exactly how it is that you feel that a man with a bachelor’s degree in politics and international relations from Columbia, a law degree from Harvard and that was selected as the president of the Harvard Law Review, graduated magna cum laude, was a senior lecturer on constitutional law at the University of Chicago Law, served his community for years, went on to serve in the Illinois state senate, and then to the U.S. Senate can be classified as unqualified? He has plenty of experience in politics, is well educated, and even more importantly is willing to surround himself with those that are even more knowledgeable than himself.
I believe that you are way off the mark to insult an individual’s intelligence based upon the fact that they have differing political ideals/opinions from yourself.
And on a final note, I would like to know how you went from commenting on the spell-check correction of Obama to completely ignoring the rules of grammar in your follow-up posts. Seriously, the spelling and grammar errors really detract from the intelligence of your arguments. If you’re going to take the time to write an intelligent response, PLEASE use proper grammar and read over it before you add it to the site.
Thank you.

Genious observations! Stumbled :-)
October 17th, 2008
To TORI
Yes your right in regards to my grammar and spelling. I only have time to post these things on my breaks so if you had trouble understanding what I had to say I’m sorry…
Now the people I insult are the ones who have the crazy ideas! Not The regular folks. Only the ones who say stupid things like Bush is a Nazi!
My insults are to provoke the people that they are aimed at to consider something they haven’t before… Or at bare minimum to try to get them to prove the facts I give wrong. If they do then I will get educated and if I’m correct then they see for themselves and they are educated. I think it is clear that I am fully capable of having a normal debate on issues if you look at what Jomamma and I discussed. Or did you not read that one?
You say the things I say about Obama are just an opinion. I disagree in regards to the economy. If you look at history (or our country and others) you will see the things Obama wants to do simply do not work. The people create welth and the people need to strive to become better, not to depend on the goverment! If you worked your butt off and became wealthy would you want your goverment to take away some of your profits and give it to thoes who do nothing for themselves? If we do that then there is no insentive for anyone to work hard. Why would they? What would be the point? The govermnent is going to take it away. Raising taxes on big companys will only result in us taking the hit. The big corporations will simply raise the price of their product to matain their profits. On the other hand if you lower their taxes they are inclinded to lower their prices. This is a fact! This is why I call people stupid. They simply do not get this!
You also make it sound that I hate Obama suporters. This is just not true. I encourage people to vote, no matter who their canidate is. I just want them to be informed. If you vote you should know the facts of both partys. You should know what they want to do, and what they have done. Who their friends are and what their record shows.
I hope you can see that I am NOT “off the mark” on anything, with exception of my spelling and grammar… sorry again…HA
Thanks
Hope to hear from you on the whole economic thing…

You missed Joe the plumber, he’s in the bald guy section.
October 17th, 2008
OK guys and gals
I have yet to hear from the Obama supporters… Why is he the guy for America? Or why is McCain not the guy for America? Please speak up!
Some food for thought…
“A society that will trade a little liberty for a little order will lose both, and deserve neither”
Thomas Jefferson
Property is the fruit of labor; property is desirable; it is a positive good in the world.
Abraham Lincoln
“Mine is better than ours.”
Benjamin Franklin
How is Obama’s redistribution plan now?
“The beauty of the second amendment is that it will not be needed until they try to take it.”
Thomas Jefferson
That one is great!

October 18th, 2008
Well, RCK, I’ll give you one of my problems with McCain. I truly believe we’ll be fighting a third war within a year of his inauguration. That is pretty unacceptable given the state of the conflicts we are bogged down in at the moment. This may be an unfair appraisal of the situation based on a few offhand comments the man has made (one, the famous “joke” about bombing Iran he made last fall), but I’m willing to put money on us getting wrapped up in an unnecessary fight with Iran over their right to produce their own nuclear energy, based on the assumption that they will abuse the power. Was that a fantastic run-on sentence, or what?
Here’s my take on the Iran thing: Iran belongs to the IAEA (last I knew). As a member, they have every right to pursue a nuclear energy program. If they no longer belong, this argument loses its relevance. I apologize if this is the case.
As far as Obama is concerned, I think he is a very persuasive speaker who has the ability to rally the people behind him. No doubt he will be a popular president. However, what if he turns out to be a very persuasive terrible leader? He’s going to have an incredibly hard time proving he can do all he says. I worry that with him, we’ll be getting a man who can talk the talk, but stumbles trying to walk the walk. Or worse, tries so hard to promote change, but is hobbled by congress’ unwillingness to work with him because of radical ideas.
You can tell me all day long that McCain is a war hero (we have plenty of those, many of which I would never cast a vote for), or that Obama is an upstanding community leader (again, one of a million or two such people), but it will be a man’s ability to act in my (and your) best interest which will secure my vote. As always, this is a contest between two imperfect people who could never possibly keep everyone happy. People have valid reasons not to vote for either candidate, so respect their opinions and treat them like you’d like to be treated. Agreed, RCK?
October 18th, 2008
HAHAHAHA I just woke up my wife laughing at these posts, not to mention the pictures. So many people take this stuff way too seriously. Sure it is the future but really all you do is make the choice you think is best.
Anyway, you guys have to check out MrsVeep.com also for some good laughs. I about fell over the first time. Just move and click your mouse around. It will have you rolling too.

i’m glad i wasn’t there…. the old guys and the bald guys look pretty molesty. not unlike mccain himself.
just sayin..

Attention RCK
What a typically gruff, illmannered, obnoxious, narrow-minded chap you are. What does RCK stand for? Republican Commie Killer or something equally indicative of your political leanings? It do believe you are not capable of judging my views since you are seeing your nation through red, white and blue glasses. Note the third colou is for that big eye in the middle of your forehead you freak of nature. You are actually quite eloquent for a trailer-learned redneck, ultra-right-wing, fascist neonazi. Usually you speak with the droning of goose-stepping jackboots thindering down the streets of the poor opresssed counties.
Oh wait… That was the Germans. My mistake. You prefer to play rap music these days through loudspeakers mounted on top of those silly looking extra wide Jeeps. Mumblers… no… hummers. That’s it.
You calling me a political retard, however true or not that may be, it is extremely amusing coming from a belated abortion such as yourself. I imagine your mother has seriously thought of having you done away with on a few occasions or has she wisely checked out herself to escape further embarrassment you must cause her on a regular (daily) basis. I strongly recommend suicide to spare the long suffering bitch anymore agony. Do it….. Please!!! America doesn’t need anymore fuckwits like you and neither do we, the true free citizens of the world.
I was delighted by Colin Powell’s support of the only qualified candidate yesterday. It is good to see there are still some decent men lefy in that abominable Republican Party – or The Den of Thieves as I sometimes refer to them as being. hehehe…
Oh sorry RCK…. are you still here? Piss off. I am done with you,
Yes, Mr Powell’s endorsement is nice indeed but Obama didn’t really need it. Still Mr Powell has been dying to kick Bush in the nuts for years now and he finally landed one right on target. What fun!!!
He had better watch out though because I imagine that crazy bitch from the melting state of Alaska will be wanting to blow his ass off with one of her moose guns. I suppose she has branded him as a treacherous terrorist as well. Christallmighty…. what a madhouse.

I have been creating posts on my site greatinfotips.com, but mine are not funny like your site. Great job!

To Pieter
WOW…
Thanks for proving my point! YOU POLITICAL RETARD! First you didn’t even make a rebuttal on any of the facts I gave you, and second you didn’t even make a point for your self! All you did was talk shit and make an ass of yourself! You say I am “ultra-right-wing” just what the hell are you? You are the extremist here, not me! Anyone can tell by reading my posts that I am conservative. I don’t try to hide it. But to say that I am a ULTRA RIGHT WING IS NUTS!
This is the last line of defense for these people. They can’t argue with facts so they lash out and try to humiliate those who oppose what they “THINK” to be true!!!
Hey, don’t speak unless you have something intelligent to say about this discussion!
thanks

Okay, everything was funny, and I laughed a little harder and harder as I went to each item…but when I read “Lady With Penis Head” I lost complete control and began laughing uncontrollably–so much and so hard that I am losing oxygen–and now, I look like the bugged lady from the earlier caption. Maybe that bug eyed lady read something else HERE and laughed so hard her eyes kind of came out of her sockets by a cm or 2. I’m still laughing. Thanks. Mathew
